She was passionate about making a difference in young children of all backgrounds and nationalities as they transitioned to America, with learning English for the first time in the local school system.
Jocelyne was a devout Catholic and devoted mother, stepmother, grandmother, godmother, along with caring friend, and great neighbor. In her spare time, she loved cooking various cuisines, especially her native Haitian cuisine with family. She enjoyed listening to Celtic music, watching competitive cooking shows, game shows, and reruns of sitcoms from the 70s and 80s, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time and talking with family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a source of joy, peace, happiness, strength, and giver of continuous love and support to all who loved her. Her sacrifices for her children were immeasurable. She will be missed greatly by all.
