John Seay Born: August 9, 1939 Worthington Springs, FL Wife: Janice Kay Freeman Ellison Seay 2004-Current Siblings: Albert, Ted, Lucy, Robert, Bryant, Bonnie, Roy Children: John Jr., Lisa, Donna, Karen, Lori, (Step-son Kyle) Grandchildren: Aubree, Chloe, Dale, Doug, Ashley, Ricky, Dorothy Great Grandchildren: Elaina and one-on-the-way Resident of Apopka, Florida 1970-2020 John had a gregarious, larger-than-life personality, and was superb with people. John was a genuine "People Person". Serving others and entertaining a crowd was some of John's many charming gifts and talents. John was a provider and protector to many. John served his country (Army- Special Forces- Green Beret) Owner and Founder 50 plus years Seay Tree Service Faithful Servant of The Bahia Shrine 1969-2020 - Master Mason, Potentate 2010 Philanthropic Service: Emeritus Member of the Tampa Board of Governors - Tampa Shrine Hospital John was an avid golfer, hunter, motorcyclist, boater, equestrian, and bowler. He enjoyed dining at family owned restaurants, and fun competitions. Scramblers and a weekend at the casino were some of his favorites. John loved to say "I'm glad you got to see me" and "lets get outta here before someone recognizes us". His life was an amazing reflection of a basic life principles. (Truth, hard work, perserverance, honor, loyalty, sincerity, and love). He will be deeply missed.
