Obituary for Michelle Lynn Weippert:
It is with great sadness that the family of Michelle Weippert (nee Lesnick) announce her passing on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the age of 54.
Michelle will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Brittany Weippert, Courtney Herrick, and Chelsea Weippert. Michelle was an adoring daughter to her surviving parents, Michael & Lynda Lesnick. She was the beloved middle sibling of her oldest sister, Collisa Astle, and youngest, Lori Haney, whose children called her Aunti Kiki. She had numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She always said the best time of her life was being a mother to her three girls. She loved driving them across town to dance classes, soccer practice, or private tutoring; all the while never tiring on hearing about their day at school with friends, boys, and idle teen gossip. She always made time to listen to them and understand each of their little idiosyncrasies. They always felt loved no matter what and that was all she ever wanted for her daughters.
Known for her creativity with drama and singing, Michelle had taken some time to pursue her love of acting on the production set for an HBO mini-series called From Earth to the Moon. There she met big actors like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, getting pictures & autographs as mementos for herself and her children. She even had a few scenes as a featured extra, giving her stories to share for years to come.
Michelle had many successes but her proudest was how far she was able to come in her career in the insurance industry. She worked her way up from the customer service night shift, all the way to a Subrogation Unit Manager and Catastrophe Adjuster. She worked hard to build her knowledge base and experience, acquiring any licenses needed to take her higher up the corporate ladder. She did this to prove not only to herself but also to her daughters, that it doesn't matter what you're given or where you're at in the moment, but that hard work will always take you far and pay off in the end.
As a Christian woman, Michelle was a firm believer that God only gave her problems she could handle. She was confident that her struggles could later help someone else with their own. She was always there for her friends and family, with a big heart and open arms; her greatest gifts being her unmatched empathy and generosity to those closest to her.
Michelle loved 80s music, relaxing in the pool, and scrolling through TikTok for laughs. She loved to read, sometimes going through books faster than she could buy them. She loved to wake up early in the mornings and have a pot of coffee to herself before anyone else even woke up. She loved dogs and treated hers just like her children; spoiling them often and ensuring they felt loved. She loved cleaning her house from top to bottom and then lighting a scented candle as the finishing touch. She loved watching The Walking Dead, going to the farmer's market just to look around, and taking quick weekend trips anywhere just to "get away." She loved going to church and learning new passages from The Bible. She loved museums, paintings, and was open to anything that would enrich her culturally.
She enjoyed all the beautiful things in life that God blessed her with, and she in turn gave back to her community. She volunteered to feed the homeless, worked with Habitat for Humanity, and donated to many good causes over the years.
Michelle will be desperately missed by all those she leaves behind. She had a vivacious personality and people were easily drawn to her. She always made you feel welcome and loved. Her laugh lit up a room. Her family's hearts are broken by the unexpected loss of her big presence she held in their lives. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. JOHN 3:16
